Hello, my name is Daniel Westfall,
I am one of the co-owners of COASTER-net, and serve in the capacity Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President.
When I'm not working on stuff for the site, I help with co-hosting The Inversion and the Screamin' Horseshoe Queue Podcasts or making guest appearances on The Coastin' East Amusement Park Podcast and World of Screams. I also own and help manage several other partner sites such as Theme Park Universe, Soak Central, HauntTour and Theme Park Coaster Club (see our forums for links the the Club's important pages). One other place where you're almost sure to find me if I'm at my computer is Facebook on The Coaster Consortium. I look forward to seeing you guys there and in our Friday Chats. Also continue to look for even more partners and affiliates in the future as we continue to build relationships with sites like CP Rundown, KI Hub, CoasterGeek101 and CoasterCafe.
Also many of you will find out that I'm more of a math geek than a coaster nerd. So, if you have any questions about math, feel free to ask me. I also really like theology, ethics, philosophy and apologetics. For any of you that want to pick my brain on these issues or others like them, I'm happy to have those conversations through PM or on Facebook.
I have been with COASTER-net for six years now and it has been the best time of my life. I hope to continue helping out with COASTER-net to bring all of our loyal viewers fast and quality content. At first I started doing the Coaster Quiz and then expanded to the Web Links. At that time I was promoted to Co-Webmaster and have worked some way on every part of the site.
I got interested in roller coasters about 3 1/2 years ago after a visit to Knoebles, and when I got home I just wanted to learn all about them. Since that time I have traveled to most of the east coast going to over 15 amusements parks east of the Mississippi. So far out of all the parks that I have visited my favorite one would have to be Cedar Point; the shear magnitude of the park overwhelmed me the first time that I visited. Right now my favorite steel roller coaster would have to be Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England tied with Millennium Force at Cedar Point. My favorite wooden roller coaster would be Phoenix at Knoebles.
I am 18 years old and live in the small town of Endwell, New York. I live about 3 hours from Hersheypark, Knoebles, Dorney, and Six Flags Darien Lake. I would consider Hershey my home park because I make at least 3 visits to the park a year. I don't go to parks that often because of the 3 hour drive.
A roller coaster welcome to you all here at COASTER-net. My name is Dwain and I am the new Vice President of Operations of this humble abode we like to call home. I am a local historian and teacher of Honors History at Parkersburg South High School in the beautiful state of West Virginia. I have been a lifelong enthusiast of Theme Parks and Roller Coasters. It all started when I was growing up across the street from Camden Park in Huntington, WV. The small, local park introduced me to Big Dipper and Thunderbolt Express which were my first coasters. After growing up and taking trips to Kings Island and Cedar Point, I became a coaster maniac who could not get enough of the thrills. Growing up during the Coaster Wars was something that I will cherish the rest of my life. Seeing rides like Top Gun built and then to see how far we have come with coasters like Top Thrill and Millennium Force has been a life experience unlike any other.
I am the Chief Operations Officer here at COASTER-net which means I am in charge of running the different areas on the front end of the site. I am also the host and creator of the SHQ which is the Screamin' Horseshoe Queue Podcast. This is now the 3rd podcast that is in the COASTER-net family. I also am a web page builder for the site. I have helped create SFGAm Nation with Tyler and CP Rundown which is a Cedar Point Page that will be in the COASTER-net family. My other job is I am the Staff Manager for the site.
Please feel free to contact me for anything! I love to chat and get to know people. I would love to meet up and go to a park with some staff and members. I look forward to chatting with everyone and continue looking for more work from us here at COASTER-net.
Hi, I'm Kevin Dice. I've had an interest in roller coasters for as long as I can remember. I hold the title of Director, although that is more ceremonial than it has been in the past. I do a little of everything as my list of jobs up there ^ shows, but not so much during marching band season. Lately, I've been working on the back end of the site, coding new features for the staff, editing the Inversion Podcast, and fixing up posters for sale in the store.
I absolutely love music. I'm in my school's marching band and wind ensemble playing tuba. I've played piano for 13 years now, and this year, I'm the soloist for our marching band field show.
The Roller Coaster Tycoon series sparked my interest in roller coasters before I ever rode one. When I was 5 years old, I would get up very early in the morning (4 or 5 am. early) a few times a week to play the game. I convinced my parents to buy RCT2 and 3 when they came out as well. A few years ago, I bought No Limits and I've been creating rides with it ever since. If you are into using Newton 2 to create tracks, look out for my Newton 2 tutorial series in the editorial section.
I joined COASTER-net back in 2008. Less than a year later, I was on staff. First I wrote news articles, then I worked in Special Listings, a section full of statistics and records. I lead a massive reorganization and cleanup of the over 20,000 pictures in our photo galleries with duplicate entries and broken park/ride associations. This lead me to learn PHP and HTML. I have worked in nearly every section of the site, from news to downloads to the quiz. Now, I work on the back end of the site behind the scenes. My most recent completed project was the creation of a system to keep track of staff accomplishment and appropriately reward the staff members.
I'd love to talk to you. You can reach me on the forums through PM, on the Coaster Consortium Facebook page, or through email.
If you have any photos you would like to see in our galleries, shoot me an email at kevindice@coaster-net.com.

Hi, my name is Andrew and I'm currently both the News Director and Staff Manager here at COASTER-net. Since joining the site, I've been truly impressed with both the way things are run and the quality of information presented. I these roles, I hope to continue this tradition but also take COASTER-net to a new level of excellence. I'm especially excited about the prospect of expanding COASTER-net in regards to flat rides, water parks and haunts. Hauntoverse is my pet project and I look forward to bringing you the latest news and opinions about all of this year's offerings made by all the major amusement parks.
A little bit about myself:
I've been riding roller coasters for at least 25 years. I've been going to CP every year on family vacations since 1992. Even though I live closer to other parks, CP will always be my home. A few years ago, I decided to expand my horizons and start attending as many theme parks as possible. Since then I've had some great experiences and have met some great people. I'm excited to talk about all of it right here now!

Hi my name is Sam, and I have been on staff since October of 2010. I actually joined COASTER-net in December of 2008. I first start doing news articles and ride gallery articles before I moved on to doing Photo of the Day and Guess That Coaster on Facebook. In addition to that, I am now the Manager of the Ride Gallery.
Coasters have been my passion for a long time now. I think it started back when I was three, and my mom took my brother and I to Dutch Wonderland. We went on the Joust kiddie coaster a couple of times. One of the times that we did it, we weren't in the front, and I was in tears the whole ride. So I guess that is how my love of coasters first started.
Other past times I enjoy are playing my bass, coaster sims (mainly NL and RCT3), music and art programs at school, and Minecraft.
I have currently ridden 154 coasters in my life. My favorites include (but are not limited to) Skyrush at Herhseypark, Bizarro at Six Flags New England, Talon at Dorney Park, Beast at King's Island, El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, and Thunderhead at Dollywood.
Coaster community members throughtout the globe, welcome to COASTER-net. My name is Scotty and I am a huge coaster fanatic! I have not been with COASTER-net very long but I love to write and love to help out in any way that is needed. I have recently been added to the staff as a news writer and look forward to keeping the coaster community updated with the important topics in our field.
I began riding coasters when I met my new family a few years ago. My home park is probably Kings Island even though i am a good three hour drive from there. I also attend Cedar Point on a regular basis. I love spending time with my dad who has taught me everything I know and saved my life.
I look forward to working with this company for a very long time and am excited to give you the best new writings and make you come back wanting more!
Hi everyone! I'm Danny Miller, from Schnecksville, PA, about 15 minutes or so from Dorney Park. If you listen to Coasterradio.com you may recognize me as "Dan the T-shirt Guy." I am the opinions/editorials (op/ed) director and I mostly write blogs and take pictures, but I help out with an occasional news article here and there. If you want a blog about a topic, I'm the guy to see! I also help out with the Inversion Podcast and the Screamin' Horseshoe Queue Podcast when I am able.
I am currently a third year mechanical engineering major in college, pursuing my Bachelor's and Master's degree simultaneously, as well as hoping to attain a minor in structural design, with the overall goal of, you guessed it, eventually working in the amusement industry.
I worked on Talon at Dorney during the 2011 season, and in the Possessed group for the 2012 season. I originally got into coasters way back in elementary school when a buddy of mine introduced me to Roller Coaster Tycoon. Since I have played around with all versions of the game and the expansion packs, as well as doing some fairly detailed projects in NoLimits when I am able to grab some free time.
Currently I have been to 57 parks all over the U.S. and Canada, and I have ridden 313 coasters (66 Wood, 247 Steel). I am also an ACE member as well as a member of TPCC. Away from the parks, I also play Division I ice hockey at college, and am currently the vice-president of the team. I own almost 100 hockey jerseys alongside my over 50 coaster/park t-shirts.
If you are in the Allentown area heading to Dorney let me know, and I can certainly try to meet up. Any questions or comments be sure to PM me! Follow me on Twitter: @CoasterDanny76

Hey, I'm Brandon, though I'm probably better known on this site (and other sites) as Coasterholic14, or "Coaster" for short. The first time I really realized that I truly loved coaster was probably around 1999, when my family started centering more trips around amusement parks. This was helped out by the various amusement park games that came out, most notably, the Roller Coaster Tycoon series.
Around 2002 my love of roller coasters and amusement parks turned into a passion and a hobby; this was when I finally joined ACE and found a home among friends with a common passion, and I have remained a member ever since.
I joined this website in 2004 to share my passion with others. My post count may not be all that high, but I try to make every post count. I enjoy intellectual conversations about the rides and parks, so if you're ever looking someone to chat with or share your thoughts with, feel free to send me a message or get in contact with me.
Moving to the present day, I have recently finished up my senior year at NC State (graduate May '10), obtaining my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I went into the field of Mechanical Engineering for my skills with numbers, logic, anazlyzation, and of course, my hopes of landing a job in the amusement industry! I joined the COASTER-net Staff around that time to work on the Coaster Quiz and Special Listings. Since then, I have had a hand in News, Blogs, Ride and Park Gallery articles, News Director, and numerous other projects on the site.
Hey everyone! My name is Laura and I currently live in Minnesota. My hometown parks are Valleyfair and Nickelodeon Universe. Currently I am a Valleyfair correspondent for COASTER-net as well as a photographer, news, and blog writer for HauntTour.
Growing up, Knott's Camp Snoopy (currently Nickelodeon Universe) was my favorite place to be. Every weekend my parents would take me and we would spend hours there. I never rode anything other than the carousel, due to my fear of heights. I finally conquered that fear when I was 7 years old and rode my first roller coaster; Pepsi Ripsaw. Ever since I rode it I fell in love with roller coasters and can't get enough!
My love for Halloween began at a later age. Growing up I remember I absolutely hated Halloween. It was the worst holiday ever celebrated, according to my 9 year-old mind. Anything with blood or clowns- I couldn't stand. That all changed when I visited ValleyScare for the first time. Every since I set foot at ValleyScare in 2010, I have loved the bloody holiday known as Halloween. Now days, you can find me visiting the vampires at ValleyScare every weekend during September-October.
Hello everybody. My name is Cole.
I am from the great state of Pennsylvania. The closest amusement park to me is DelGrosso's Amusement Park in Tipton, Pennsylvania. I do, however, live near many coasters that are within a four hour driving distance, including Lakemont Park, Knoebels, Hersheypark, Kennywood, Dorney Park, and Waldameer. I have been a huge fan of amusement parks for as long as I can remember, with my personal favorite parks being Kennywood, Knoebels, Magic Kingdom, and Six Flags Great Adventure. I have ridden a total of 78 roller coasters. Some of my favorites include Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure, Storm Runner at Hersheypark, Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce, El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, and Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer.
Aside from amusement parks, I am also an avid collector of maps from amusement parks. I am a huge fan of professional wrestling. My personal favorite company to watch is Ring of Honor, where my favorite wrestler is Kevin Steen. I also am a fan of video games, with my favorite being Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.
I am glad to be apart of COASTER-net. Currently, I am a data entry specialist, head moderator, and, in the future, a news writer and a photographer. If you have any questions for me, just e-mail me. I cannot wait to get to know all of you in the COASTER-net community!
