In the Loop interview with Six Flags Great Adventure / By: Clint Novak, Thursday, February 10, 2005 -
Six flags has some big things happening for the 2005 season. Seams like every other week they have a release about something. This week we hurd that Six Flags Great Adventure will be losing a coaster and gaining a very nice show. Clint Novak talked with Great Adventure about the press release this week. To here the interview Click here.
Clint Novak: Hey what’s going on, its Clint Novak with In the Loop. I have Kristin Siebeneicher here from Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. How are you doing today Kristin?

Kristin Siebeneicher: I am doing great, How are you?

Clint: I’m good. Its good to have you back on the show. We had you here about two weeks ago talking about KingDa Ka and you guys have some new news to talk about.

Kristin: We do. It seems like the good news keeps on coming. We have a fantastic new entertainment programmed that we are going to be launch in addition to the great golden kingdom stuff that were putting in for the 2005 season. So that is just one thing that were just so proud of cause it really is entertainment geared towards the whole family. You have coaster for the thrill seekers, and entertainment that can really entertain the hole family.

Clint: Why don’t you tell us about the entertainment that you will be receiving this year.

Kristin: Are biggest most boastful show is Spirit of the Tiger. This is a great new show that were are adding to the golden kingdom that is our new themed section. This will be in the temple of the tiger exhibit. Sprit of the Tiger is really a fusion of music, dancing, and animal athleticism. I say it’s different from other tiger shows because its just jammed pack with beautiful music and dancing and its all custom created for just our park. So you will not see anything else like this in the world

Clint: That is exciting stuff.

Kristin: It is. Its great. We brought together a great crew who has been able to create Sprit of the Tiger. We have Broadway producers, People who working on sound stages, and people who work in TV. This is something were so prod of and hope ever one can come and enjoy it.

Clint: Sounds like fun. Does that open up with the park?

Kristin: Yes, we will be previewing Sprit of the Tiger march 25th witch is opening day. It will take the tigers a little bit of time for them to get use to there new enforcement and used to the show. So we want to give them some time before we call it the great opening with we expect some time in may. But when people come to the park they will be able to see the previews of the Spirit of the Tiger, They might not see the full production, that will be ready for memorial day

Clint: EastCoaster happened a few weeks ago and rumors are starting to suffuse about the departure of a roller coaster?

Kristin: Its True. I was kind of sad but i am not sure if other people were. We will be losing Viper. It has been a staple at the park since 1995. It was the worlds first hartline inverted coaster. So it had its milestone of its own, but we feel its time to say goodbye. We will be removing viper in the 2005 season to make room for future expansion.

Clint: I know you cant tell us what that expansion is can you.

Kristin: That’s right. Tell you the truth we don’t really know our self’s but when we know you will know.

Clint: I see you guys made it in the February 2005 issue of Popular Science. It must be great to have such a coaster coming to New Jersey

Kristin: It is. Its fabulous achievement for us. Its something our park has not had in a really really long time. Something of this magnitude.

Clint: Is there anything new with the construction?

Kristin: They are putting in the last pieces of track and we hope the pull thro will start in a few days

Clint: Well if they need a water dummy for the pull thro i would be happy to be it.

Kristin: I will let them know.

Clint: Alright thanks for talking with us Kristin.
