To all members:
There is a t-shirt that is being made for COASTER-net.
The T-shirt will be under $10.
If you want one, please contact Devin Olson or me, Cedar Point Fan. My email is p.leaske@gmail.com.
You must pre-order them for now if you want one!
As you probably know, there really hasn't been an official t-shirt. In the spirit of C-net, we ask you to honor your site and buy a shirt. You can wear it anywhere, including an Amusement Park!
The front:

The back:
Thank You,
Cedar Point Fan

I like option 1 for the back. But whatever we end up with, I definitely want one.
This side of eternity is short - make the most of it.

I actually kind of like #2 for the back.

Ha! I love #1. I'd possibly be interested... depends on the price though.

I am interested in buying one when they come out. Just thought I'd say that to help you with your counting.
As far as constructive criticism, option 1 is without a doubt the best design in my opinion. However, I liked some of the jokes from the shirt that was posted in the pointless thread too. Some of those weren't carried over to the new design. Granted, if you crammed everything on there, it would look sloppy.
I know, I know, my words don't offer much help. I was just stating my opinions (even if they don't make much sense).

^ I wanted the same thing, Matt.
But you have to remember. Where these shirts really matter is in an amusement park. I don't think you want to be wearing black in the late spring and summer
I will consider the black version though, seeing as I wanted one too

In my opinion, the #2 option for the back is the best overall; simple, clean, to the point, keeps the focus on the coaster pictured and the site. I'd like to see the same C-net quote you have on the bottom of #3 on #2 though too.
The #1 option is ok, I guess, just don't think all that suppossed "humor" has much of anything to do with the site or being a coaster enthusiast...but, whatever is most popular is fine by me.
So white will be the only color for sure, with black a possiblity too, or...more colors?

I'll answer the last part for you (about the shirt's color). We will be doing other shirts in other colors and variations later with the profit we make from this one. The cheapest way we can get it done right now is to start with a white T-shirt and keep the price down by keeping it from getting too elaborate--simple black text with only the logo and URL in color (possibly) so that they stand out. We are planning on possibly doing additional shirts in black and in long-sleeved versions as well, as we get the money to do so.
I agree that the site's slogan, "Your guide to ride on the wild side" is a MUST, no matter what style shirt we use. I also believe that the word "Community" needs to be there somewhere.
Maybe something along the lines, "A proud member of the best coaster community around. Interested in joining? Ask me how." It doesn't have to say that exactly, but being a "community" is what makes our site distinctively different. There are so many other sites out there that we need to advertise what makes us different and great.

revised #2
I am leaning nearly completely towards this. Sorry Devin, but I think #1 is a little too much, seeing as cost will be high and it looks squished. I am going to configure a poll between #2 and #3. Any more text and it looks dirty. Believe me, I've tried.

If not, I'll just copy the logo (with permission of course), and put it on a plain black t-shirt.
Also, the reason why I asked for the back, is because I'm so nerdy, I would wear it outside of amusement parks

There is a possibility of it being in the under 10 dollar range.

^In answer to your question, we can use any coaster photo that we have in our galleries or in our Photo Trip Reports, but can not use any photos off of other servers.
We are close to the final product on this, so I don't think it would be wise to go and change the coaster at this point, but we should have many other shirt designs coming out, and I am sure some of them will have other coasters featured. All constructive criticism and suggestions are more than welcome. Remember that if you criticize something, make sure to give specific ways in which the issue could be resolved or improved.

^^Hulk, please realize that we made this design with utmost care, version after version, I presented them to Devin. Realize I did not try to make it two of CP's coasters, it was just out of convenience. For the Maverick photo, I needed to find a photo of a coaster with a professional look, and after searching, only found the photo that's on there. For Raptor, please, realize how hard it was to find the right photo. If you can find, in our galleries, a professional looking photo of a loop of an invert with the train going over the top in it. Plus, it needed good color (green worked, gray, white, black didn't), which is how I got the Raptor photo. I am sorry that you do not like Raptor, but you must realize that I tried lots of things and this gave it the right look. You must also realize that we are not saying a coaster is the best that we could find when using it's photo, just the easiest edited/made.
I am sincerely sorry you do not like the front, but realize that many do, including Devin.
Thank You,
Cedar Point Fan

Just an idea for the future, what about hoodies? We could make them in black and it could be worn during the colder months of the year when you might not want to wear a t-shirt. When I was at SFGAm a couple weekends ago the high was 42*. I realize they would be a bit more expensive but I would be willing to pay for one.

Everything is done right now, I am just waiting for Devin to reply so I can send him the t-shirt designs.
