Six Flags Great Adventure has been the home to some of the largest names in comics. Batman: The Ride, Dark Knight, and Green Lantern are all coaster heroes that have been protecting Six Flags Great Adventure from the Bizarro coaster. However, this all changed in 2017 as a new coaster villain made his debut to have the last laugh. The Joker has taken on Six Flags Great Adventure in a new revolutionary experience on the 4-D model of S&S Worldwide’s various coaster collection as The Joker has his way on unsuspecting guests. Will you be able to take on this clown?
One of the most prevalent markings of this coaster is the dual colored track, one side being green, the other being purple signifying the classic Joker color scheme. The Joker starts riders in a vertical ascent to 120 feet into the air. Entering into the first drop, riders are at the whim of the car as the seats themselves flip at varying intervals on every drop and ascent. Followed with two smaller drops, this creates a dizzying effect that leads into the first major drop that takes riders under the overhead track. This sends riders flipping as they encounter two additional small hills which leads into the next major drop. Flaring out riders then hit a small mid course brake run that leads into the final drop into the station. The Joker utilizes a classic version of The Joker from the DC Comics, as the icon is posted at the queue and also a logo on the side of the coaster itself.
