© Six Flags AmericaSix Flags America has recently announced a new attraction joining the wet-n-wild lineup at it’s Hurricane Harbor waterpark, ZoomAzon Falls. This water ride will feature four tube slides that will carry riders through an “Amazon rainforest,” featuring waterfalls, jungle trees, sound effects, and a variety of other features to fit the Amazon theme. The four slides combine will feature more than a half mile of new slide for guests to journey on. The ride will debut when the rest of Hurricane Harbor opens on May 21.
The park also announced it will be featuring four new shows next year, including Survivor Live!, Bob the Builder Live, Turn up the Heat, and the Blundering Buccaneers Stunt Show. According to the parks press release, the Blundering Buccaneers Stunt Show is set to begin April 16, and will be a comic adventure telling the tale of Pirate Red Rob, as he “causes chaotic mischief at the expense of the rest of the fleet.”
Two of the parks other shows, Survivor Live! and Bob the Builder Live are set to open May 27. Survivor Live!, based on the reality TV show, will be an interactive 30-minute show that will pit four audience members against one another in tests of endurance, memory, and strength. The show will also feature music, choreography, and elaborate sets. The winner of each show will receive a pair of tickets for the season finale of Survivor. The other show, Bob the Builder Live, will feature Bob the Builder and the Can-Do Crew as they ask audience members for assistance for a special project, singing, dancing, and building along the way.
The parks fourth show to debut this year is Turn Up the Heat, which will make its debut on May 28. The park describes the show as giving a “contemporary makeover” to “classic summer hits” as they “mash together with current pop culture to create a totally new, unique sound.”
