After carrying over four million riders screaming high above the Las Vegas Strip, the world's highest coaster has finally reached the end of its track.
High Roller, the kiddie-sized coaster situated atop the iconic tallest building in Las Vegas, will be removed over the next several months to accomodate a new attraction at the Statosphere Tower. While the replacement has yet to be officially revealed, Stratosphere officials call the new attraction in the works a more thrilling ride.
When the Stratosphere Tower debuted in 1996, High Roller joined the launched freefall tower Big Shot as one of the original thrill rides that would make the building renown. Hoever, after the tower began introducing more thrill-seeker-geared rides in 2003 and 2005 with X-Scream and Insanity taking riders over the building's edge, officials announced that all available room had been expended.
Located at the 909-foot level on the top of the tower, the High Roller's 865-foot track formed a triple helix around the Big Shot. Tower guests could ride the High Roller for $4, exactly half the ticket price of the other three rides.
Deconstruction will take place gradually, with sections being removed and lowered to the ground via mini-crane after hours. It is expected that the process will last for three months.

Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens theme park has announced the world's tallest swing carousel (or Starflyer) ride. The new ride will be called Sky Ship and stand at a shattering 262 feet tall. The ride will become the tallest ride at the park, beating the 207 foot tall Golden Tower.
Sky Ship is a ride done by Austrian company Funtime Rides as one of their "Starflyer" ride. These rides have been popular in Europe, yet none exist in America. These types of rides can be best described as a Wave Swinger on steroids. Usually at extreme heights, riders slowly rise and spin around at top speeds of 70 kilometers per hour (or around 40 MPH. The ride carries 24 people in 12 two seated chairs.
Tivoli Gardens has been a theme park known for recently adding the Daemonen (Demon) floorless roller coaster in 2004. Sky Ship will open next year.

After two short seasons as the mascot for Six Flags theme parks, the commercial star regarded as a wild success for its cult following is being retired by new Six Flags owner Dan Snyder.
Snyder opted to discontinue the popular commercials after citing a focus on attracting families rather than teenagers. Snyder believes that the Mr. Six commercials had the largest impact on teenagers, while families should be the primary target of ads due to general financial superiority.
Mr. Six provided Six Flags with some of the most successful commercials in the United States by dancing to the tune of "We Like to Party" by the Vengaboys. Six Flags introduced the slogan "It's Playtime" as part of the advertising campaign encouraging potential guests to visit the parks in their free time.
The identity of the actor playing the aged man has yet to be revealed.
The Washington Redskins owner declared himself the new Six Flags CEO late last month, citing a 57% vote to oust current leaders of the world's largest theme park operator, a chain plagued with financial troubles in the past.
