'THE PHANTASIALAND JET': RIDE DEMOLISHED AFTER 34 YEARS. |
Phantasialand’s classic Schwarzkop monorail has been demolished after over 34 years of entertaining rider’s. ‘The Phantasialand Jet' monorail system was made in 1974, and was one of the most heavily themed monorails ever created. It was known for its cramped, but one of a kind cars.
Phantasialand is a theme park located in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The park contains well known rides such as ‘Winjas’, a spinning roller coaster, and ‘Black Mamba’, an inverted coaster.
This removal is being followed by the demolition of the big fountain, which just like ‘The Jet’ is located on Old Berlin Street. These two attractions were some of the more popular areas on Old Berlin Street.
As far as the public knows, Phantasialand currently does not have anything planned for the area ‘The Jet’ occupied.
