Dutch Wonderland was founded in 1963 as a small family-geared theme park in the farming country of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Since then, new rides and attractions have been added including a junior wooden coaster and a steel kiddie coaster.

The woodie, named Sky Princess, was built in 1992 as Custom Coasters International's first ever ride. Joust, an oval kiddie coaster, came six years later and resides nearby. Other rides attractions have also found home at Dutch Wonderland over the years.

Dutch Wonderland was recently purchased by Herco, owners of Hersheypark, with more in store for the future.
