When I first looked at Desperado, I was shocked by how tall it was. It looked smaller in pictures. At first, it seemed it was closed, but then I saw a train go down the 225 foot drop at 80 mph.
When I boarded the train, I usually always pull the lap bars/restraints as far as they will go, and it hurt really bad. When the train got out of the station and started going up the lift, it was a bit rough. The lift seemed forever.
When the train was at the top, I was thrown to the side because of the drop. After the descent into the tunnel, and the train was at the top of the hill, it was really rough. Every turn always pushed me from side to side.
When the train was over the parking lot of Buffalo Bill's Casino & Resort, it started to smooth out. When it hit the first brake run, I was thrown front wards. When we flew past the monorail to the Prim-a-Donna Hotel and back to Buffalo Bill's Casino & Resort, the train then plunged down, seeming that it was going to hit the train that was in front of us.
When the train went into the canyon, I was a little disappointed, because it was nothing but the wires holding the canyon together and some trucks. I would have thought that they would have themed the inside with a waterfall or something.
In the canyon there was a banked helix. When the train exited the canyon, it hit the second brake run, and then we went into another turn into the final brake run into the station.
