Right as you enter City Walk you see the towers of Doctor Doom's Fear Fall towering over the entrance of the park. You enter the park and make a left, pass the Hulk and the very next ride you see is Doctor Doom's Fear Fall. It is located in a part Marvel Super Hero Island known as Doom Alley. This part of the island is controlled by villains. You enter the ride and walk through the queue. Then you wait while they decide which tower you will experience. Doctor Doom's plan is to take over the Fantastic Four by sucking the fear right out of them for him to use. The rode operators tell you that you wil go to the tower to your left. The vehicle on the tower has 4 sides and each side seats 4. You stand in front of the number that the ride ops assigned you, and waiting for the doors to open for you to board the ride vehicle. You hear the screams of the people on the ride right now, and you fell your stomach turn. You also hear voices on the other side of the wall as the people head for the exit. The doors finally open for you.
You strap yourself in and hold on for your life. The doors close in front of you so you know the end is near. The voice of Doctor Doom comes out of no where and you are slowly lifted off the ground a couple of feet. He starts telling you about his evil plan. "You are the last and final piece of my plan. Your terror, sucked from the very marrow of your being, will fill my fear fuel reservoir and make me the most powerful man on earth. Doombot, ignore all safety warnings and set for maximum extraction. Now, put your head against the headrest. I don't want to miss a drop. Prepare to be terrorized. You have served doom well. Thanks to you weak mortals, I finally have the power I need to crush the Fantastic Four. The triumph of Doctor Doom is at hand." You feel the vehicle slowly moving upward. All of the sudden without knowing when you are launched 160ft in the air and given an extremely good view of the park. You reach the top and get some great airtime. You experience a couple more shots in the air and sthen you slowly return to the ground. The first thought that comes to your mind when you exit the ride is "Can I ride again?" Written by Tacoking

Doctor Doom's Fearfall takes an "ordinary" vertical freefall thrill ride and with strong theme preparation. The usage of an inside loading queue line with Dr. Doom's voice over storyline, turns this into a true "fright" ride! By the time you "blast off" heading outside, you're completely freaked! In fact, my wife was shocked to be outside when the ride took off the first time we rode it--that's just how good the inside storyline and themeing was. Although not nearly as tall or fast as some, this thriller truly prepares you and scares you! An 8.5 out of 10.

Doctor Doom's Fearfall was not scary. It was not that tall and fast. I thought it could be better. I likes it when the smoke came and it launches you.

Rode for the 1st time yesterday. We had built up great expectations for this, and were pretty nervous once we were strapped into the cars. The acceleration up was great, but after that, it was kind of a letdown. Could have definitely been longer with more drops. Would ride again, but not if there is any line at all.
