      It's always taken a lot to keep COASTER-net running on a daily basis. This section is devoted to the site itself - to the people behind it, the ones who have helped our site to succeed over the years, the site's history, and of course the ones who visit on a regular basis! - Audiovisual Producer:
Must have vast experience in shooting, editing, and / or compositing productions of at least HD quality suitable for the web and DVD distribution. Preferable software: Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe After Effects. Must provide work-sample link in "Related Experience" section below.
- Coaster Quiz Webmaster*:
Must have a vast knowledge of rarely-known ride and park information and resources for writing eight fair yet challenging questions per month and including these in a quiz after ending the previous month's quiz.
- Download Extras Webmaster:
Required are several of the simulators featured in our Download Extras section (RCT2, RCT3, NL, and Scream Machines), an FTP and graphics-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop (for reviewing sigs and avatars that have been submitted). Must handle verification and approval of all submission types, resize images for the site as needed, upload new material, and include it in the sections in regular updates. You should also be able to provide assistance to those new to the programs, and assist with the judging of official contests.
- Feature Writer:
A colorful, talented writer who can research pages on park and ride history, along with editorials and special articles on any aspect of the industry. Must provide work-sample link in "Related Experience" section below.
- Graphics Designer*:
Must be able to prudence professional looking graphic designs. Professional graphic design software, such as Photo Shop, Illustrator, and Indesign are a plus, but not required, as long as you have the software needed to produce professional looking graphic designs. Experience with creating various styles of, logos, banners, and picture edeting are required. Experience working with font design, vector graphics, 3d rendering, 3d text, 3d objects, and 3d modeling are major pluses. Some experience with product design is preferable, though not required. Please provide a list of softwhere you have experince with, and a list of softhwere you have acses to in the "Related Experince" section Below. Must provide work-sample link in "Related Experience" section below.
- News Writer:
Must have experience in journalistic writing and subject matter for writing several articles per week on current events in the ride and park world in a timely fashion. Must provide work-sample link in "Related Experience" section below.
- Park Gallery Webmaster:
Required is graphics-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and at least minimal HTML knowledge. Organizational skills are a must! Job requires including Feature Writers' articles, statistics, artwork, maps, reviews, and picture galleries on park pages in regular updates.
- Photographer*:
Must travel to theme parks on a regular basis and have good photography equipment (a camera capable of taking photos at 10 MP or better) and graphics-editing software (able to resize, edit, and watermark photos) in order to produce galleries of at least several-dozen images for park and ride pages, and an FTP client such as FireFTP or Filezilla (for uploading images to our server). Photographers should also be available to attend Media Day events and be able to write Photo Trip Reports (PTRs) after their visits to parks. Must provide work-sample link in "Related Experience" section below.
- Public Relations:
Must have writing and speaking skills to communicate with media, theme parks, and other related ride or park organizations and web sites on a regular basis. Responsibilities may include anything from having to make numerous phone calls to needing to attend Media Day events with us. A proficiency in being able to ask and answer interview questions (and knowing what not to answer) is essential.
- Ride Gallery Webmaster:
Minimal HTML knowledge required. Must include Feature Writers' articles, statistics, artwork, reviews on ride pages in regular updates and copy ride picture galleries from park pages for inclusion.
- Special Listings Webmaster:
Must have HTML, ride, and park knowledge to include submissions on Special Listings pages along with doing research to seek out new material for the section.
