It's official, Six Flags Magic Mountain will retain the title of theme park with the largest coaster collection with the addition of a third coaster from Bolliger and Mabillard, Scream!.
Scream! will be the west coast's second floorless ride, with seven inversions, a maximum height of 15 stories, 3,985 feet of blue and yellow track, and top speeds reaching 65 miles per hour.
Six Flags has formally announced the transformation of New Orleans, Louisiana's Jazzland into Six Flags New Orleans for 2003.
$20 million in capital improvements and expansion will take place over the winter to create Six Flags New Orleans, with two new steel coasters being added, Batman: the Ride and a currently nameless triple-looping steel coaster with a track length of just under 2,000 feet.
Batman will be contained in a new DC Comics-themed section signature of the Six Flags brand along with a Batman Thrill Spectacular Stunt Show while the triple-inverter will rise over the Mardi Gras area.
And for smaller thrillseekers, Six Flags New Orleans will offer a kids section transformed intoLooney Tunes Land.
