Teen stole NYC taxi for road trip to Six Flags but fell asleep during his not-so-Great Adventure, cops say. Also, the park is still closed.
A New York City teen who allegedly stole a taxi and tried to drive to Six Flags on Tuesday morning had his fun spoiled when police arrested him in New Jersey.
And even if he had made it to the park, he’d likely have been disappointed. It doesn’t open for the season until April 6.
Rochelle Park police received a tip from the New York Police Department Tuesday morning at 5:45 a.m. of a possible stolen taxi cab that had made its way to the area of Essex Street, tracked down by a GPS device.
