Seabreeze is a great place to visit and enjoy with the whole family. As you walk holding hands with your little one you should steer them towards Bear Trax, because you are not going to be able to ride it without them. Bear Trax is the parks kiddie coaster manufactured by E&F Miler Industries, and the park allows adults to ride provided they are accompanying a young child. The coaster was introduced in 1997 and it swoops and banks around a nice landscaped course next to the Jack Rabbit.
As you and your young thrill seeker approach the queue you must pass under the ride’s track and the ride wraps around the line to build excitement and anticipation. Once you load into the brightly colored trains, adorned with a cartoon bear on the lead car, your lap bars are locked and you are off. The ride begins with a climb up the 12 foot tall lift hill. The track banks as the train drops at almost 17 MPH down the main drop. The train immediately bounds over an airtime hill and then another that sends the train into a banked set of serpentine curves around some shrubs, and into a trench. The train emerges back into the station, but the ride isn’t over yet, as the train makes a second lap. This ride is sure to delight the youngest of thrill seekers and serve as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. |
