In 1999 Six Flags paid special attention to their youngest guest across the chain, and Magic Mountain introduced Canyon Blaster for guests as small as 33”. Canyon Blaster is a junior coaster manufactured by E&F Miler Industries. It is themed to a canyon chase between the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. The trains resemble mining carts, six cars with two seats in each. The simple layout is a great introduction for a young child’s first rollercoaster, and features an oval with a helix. The maximum height is eight feet and the maximum speed is 10 MPH, gentle yet thrilling enough as it navigates the bumps and turns for most kids.
