New for the 2015 season, Hersheypark introduced Laff Trakk, a family friendly fun house experience. The ride manufacturer is Maurer Sohne from Germany, with theming done by Raven Sun Creative. Classified as an “Indoor Spinning Glow Coaster”, the creation is billed as the first of its kind in the US. With variables such as weight distribution and the 40 mph top speed, the ride promises to deliver a different experience every time you ride it. The 70 second long ride pays homage to former Hersheypark attractions like Laugh Land & Whoops.

In the station, riders will be loaded four at a time into one of the seven Laff Trakk trains. Once departing the station, the ride will take a right turn onto a chain driven lift hill, taking riders through the mouth of a brightly colored Laughing Sal. At the top of the hill, surrounded by the bright, black light enhanced, backdrop, there is a slight drop into a right turn then a twist right into the main drop through neon green door frames. Once reaching the bottom of the drop, riders with take a left turn and up a hill, past a large psychedelic snake then a left turn past the Sultan in what looks like a fortune tellers tent. Once out of the tent, the ride takes a spinning right turn into another drop. Then riders will experience a high banked 180 degree turn that leads them past a house of cards then up an incline. Next is another spinning drop right leading riders through a colorful vortex followed by another spinning right turn then through rings of flames. After yet another series of right turns, the ride spins through a hall of mirrors which is the end of the adventure after 1400 feet of track.
