1999 brought many new additions to Six Flags Great Adventure, for kids the most exciting addition was Looney Tunes Seaport. This area added many much needed children’s rides and attractions that included flats, play areas, and Roadrunner Railway. Roadrunner Railway allowed guest as small as 42” to ride a real roller coaster, something that was lacking since the park removed Lil’ Thunder in 1983. Roadrunner Railway is a Zamperla coaster the track is shaped like an oval with a helix in the center. The maximum height is 13 feet and is exciting yet gentle enough for families to ride with young children who may be riding their first coaster. The track length is only 262.5 feet long but riders are treated to two laps around the circuit. So climb aboard the train and run from the Wile E. Coyote around the curvy track. Beep Beep!
