Beech Bend, located in Bowling Green Kentucky, has become an interesting small park over the past few years. It has dry thrills like the Kentucky Rumbler, and has water chills with their new Cyclone Saucers to encompass a family park experience. However, in 2016, Beech Bend took a new step forward into the family coaster style, as they took on a classic coaster designer, SBF Visa Group, to create a new and innovative family coaster. Spinning Out takes the family coaster idea and makes it into thrilling family fun with the blend of a family size with constant spinning action. Do you dare to take a spin on this thrill machine?
Unlike most coasters, Spinning Out commences with a small curved wheel lift hill. In essence, instead of using the classic chain lift, this coaster instead uses tires to propel riders up to the top of the hill. Once riders reach the top, the coaster straightens out and then goes into the first curved drop followed by another curved wheel lift hill. This acts as a helix as riders are back up into another straight potion, then a left turn drop. This drop runs back into the station, however continues through the course another two times. However, not every ride experience is the same, as this coaster spins so much, that it is capable of different ride experiences, on every circuit. Even though this coaster is small, it still packs a punch in the ability to spin out of control to the point that this coaster is a thrilling family experience. Spinning Out is an excellent addition to Beech Bend’s attraction line up, as it continues the strong family theme of this park. The next time that you are in Beech Bend, take a spin on Spinning Out, and prepare for the most thrilling family coaster experience that you will ever have. |
