Wild Adventures, located in Valdosta, Georgia, has become a small slice of new Americana in amusement parks. With an impressive coaster collection, Wild Adventures has something for everyone. This collection however would be improved in 2010 with a smaller coaster that would be something for the whole family. A new coaster for all ages by E&F Miler Industries, Viking Voyage.
Viking Voyage originally operated at Celebration City as Jack Rabbit until 2008 then was acquired by Wild Adventures and installed in 2010. Viking Voyage begins with a left turn up the 52 foot tall lift hill, cresting with a small dip to a left hand turn. This leads into a small brake with another curve into the curved left drop. Riders race down and race back up into another hill that leads to a sharp turn that leads into another drop. Viking Voyage rampages right as it turns into another hill with another sharp right turn. With another dip Viking Voyage races up into another turn left. Viking Voyage drops into another hill segment that leads to another dip that leads up to another curved left turn. This then dips and rises into another smaller dip leading into another left hand turn. With one last dip Viking Voyage then enters the final brake run. Viking Voyage itself is the only E&F Miler Industries coaster that is operating in Wild Adventures. The next time you find yourself in Wild Adventures, take on a new addition with nordic roots: Viking Voyage. |
