Indiana Beach also plans to have its two newly acquired rides in operation in time for its season-opening date.
One of the rides, formerly known as The Polyps, will now be known by a former name, Sea Warrior. It was purchased last year by Indiana Beach owner Gene Staples. The ride originated at Kiddieland in Melrose Park, Ill., the home amusement park for Staples and Crisci.

ST. LOUIS, MO
More than 100 years and millions of riders can wear on a horse. Not to mention a couple of amusement park fires, some riots and the extremes of Midwestern weather.
The 68 wooden horses and two chariots of the Grand Ole Carousel at Six Flags St. Louis are getting a major makeover. They’re long overdue and deserving, since German and Italian woodcarvers for the Philadelphia Toboggan Co. created them in 1915.
When the iconic Racer roller coaster opens for the season, officials at Kings Island promise a smoother ride.
More than 500 feet of the old and mostly original track from the 48-year-old ride will be replaced this winter, which will ensure smoother rides when the park opens for the 2021 season.
Some years may require more extensive work than others, with this year being one of them.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the sprawling, 14-acre Star Wars-themed experience at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, is a remarkable accomplishment in many ways, with highly themed elements and a rich (if somewhat cumbersome) mythology. But one of the more frustrating aspects of the land is how specifically it’s wedged into Star Wars canon: everything you see and do is set in the very narrow amount of time in between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. This leads to minor problems like many of the characters in the signature attraction, Rise of the Resistance, now being fully dead and larger ones like little kids coming to the land and not getting to, say, meet their favorite characters like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. (Chewbacca is a walkaround character and you can hear Yoda’s voice in the lightsaber-building experience.) But as a new rumor suggests, Disney could be loosening the land’s specificity, and could soon be opening it up to characters from The Mandalorian.
