For those who may not know, VelociCoaster is Universal Orlando Resort’s latest upcoming attraction. The roller coaster will feature high thrills, high G-force, as well as, purportedly, the fastest roller coaster launch in the state of Florida. Following the Jurassic World IP, VelociCoaster will have riders go on a velociraptor run where it seems dinosaurs are lurking around every corner.

SANTA CLAUS, IN

This is a milestone year at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana.  The beloved amusement park is celebrating its 75th anniversary and they're looking for your help in doing it.  The park wants to read your favorite stories through the years and see your most cherished Holiday World and Splashin' Safari photos and memories.
I have been going to Holiday World for forty years.  Truly.  Of course, when I first started going the park was called Santa Claus Land.  I have a couple of favorite memories.  I remember going to the park with my grandparents shortly after Frightful Falls opened to the public in 1984.  By then, the park had changes its name to Holiday World.  At the time, we were huge fans of Opryland, which had that amazing log ride Flume Zoom.  So, we were pumped Holiday World was getting a log ride of its own.  I still remember my very first ride on it.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek anticipates Disneyland and other parks in 2022 may be mask free and without onerous social distancing for a Covid free, vaccinated populace.
Theme parks have been hardest hit among Disney’s businesses. At a conference call to talk over the media giant’s latest earnings, execs said flagship Disneyland and Disneyland Paris likely will not open during the current quarter that ends in March, although Hong Kong Disneyland might. Neither Chapek nor CFO Christine McCarthy hazarded a guess on a Disneyland opening date.

Cedar Point says it’s instituting a new age limit for its employee housing.
Starting with this coming season, employees aged 30 and older will not be allowed to live in employee housing. Park spokesman Tony Clark said housing will only be for employees aged 18-29.
“With many of the park’s winter operations on pause due to COVID-19, the opportunity arose to give our housing program a thorough review,” Clark said. “As a result, the housing eligibility age was changed to accommodate increased housing availability for the many college students who join us to work each summer.”
