Thousands of people heading to HalloWeekends at Cedar Point on Saturday night got a frightening surprise.
Park officials announced on social media they were nearing capacity and had to restrict admission. They asked guests to come back on Sunday or next weekend, which is the last weekend of the season.
At one point, Cedar Point Road and Cedar Point Drive were temporarily closed, but have since reopened to traffic.
Happy Carter said it took three hours to finally get into the park. He has a theory as to why it was so crowded.
