'El Loco' coaster re-opens after woman falls, new rules keep leg amputees from riding
LAS VEGAS, NV
On March 25 this year, a woman with two amputated limbs fell off the Adventuredome's El Loco roller coaster while the ride was moving. Now, after months of analysis and testing, the ride has re-opened with new rules for ride operators and changes to the way the ride's sensors work.
While it was never officially confirmed which limbs were amputated or whether the amputated limbs directly led to the crash, the new rules offer some insight.
