SAN ANTONIO, TX
SeaWorld San Antonio today announced that its top-level pass members will get the first rides on its new Texas Stingray coaster, which opens to the public later this month.
The new Great Coasters International coaster opens to the public at 10:30am on February 29. But pass holders will get first dibs the weekend before, the park announced today. Platinum pass members will get the first rides, starting at 10am on Saturday, February 22, followed by Gold and Silver pass members who can ride starting at noon. The coaster will be open to those pass members again the next day for the park's Pass Member Appreciation Day.
The park last month released its official POV video for Texas Stingray, which is now the fastest, tallest, and longest wooden coaster in Texas, with 3,379 feet of track, a 100-foot drop from a 96-foot lift hill, and a top speed of 55 mph.
