The double dip of the Jack Rabbit thrilled a group of Kennywood Park visitors who went on a ride they never thought would happen.
Thursday was National Roller Coaster Day, and a trip to the amusement park gave these heart transplant patients yet another way to enjoy their second chance at life.
"I wasn't allowed to do anything. I mean, zero," said Melvin Protsman, of Butler. "My heart only worked at 8 percent. Now it's running at 65 percent, and the bucket list keeps growing."
