Stratosphere to Get New Ride
Plans were made public for a new ride to be placed atop the 1,149-foot tall Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada today which will run riders forward and backwards along a teeter-tottering stretch of track, taking thrillseekers out over the edge of the observation level of the tower.
The new attraction, which was approved by the city, will become the third thrillride to sit on the top of the Stratosphere, joining the S&S Power Space Shot attraction Big Shot and the 865-foot long kiddie coaster High Roller
An earlier proposal to build a giant shuttle coaster up the side of the tower fell through.
